I recently threw my bestie Liz's bridal shower and one of my favorite parts of shower planning is the favors! Of course, you never want to spend too much on them so you have plenty in your budget left over for the actual shower. DIY is the best way to go! I had an intern at work tell me about this awesome and SUPER EASY sugar scrub she made. It was perfect timing because I had been perusing Pinterest looking for ideas with no success and this one was perfect.
Literally, you mix 1 cup of white granulated sugar to 2/3 cup of Dawn Hand Renewal soap. That is it!!! It wants to separate, so use as little soap as you can. I made a huge batch, so I went through a few bags of sugar and 2 bottles of soap. You can also add in different oils. I think peppermint would be awesome! You can use any of the scents from Dawn - lots of options!

Mix it up well!
You can put it in the jars after it is mixed thoroughly.
Getting it into the jars can be a little tricky, but just wait to put any labels on. This could be a great teacher favor for back to school night or for a good Holiday DIY.
Enjoy making your own sugar scrub!
